The Circle B Ranch is a dream come true for the serious outdoor sportsman who enjoys watching incredible numbers of wildlife as much as they do harvesting that big buck of their dreams. The Blackmon family searched for years all over the Texas Hill Country as well as South Texas for just the right place and they found it. Originally part of a 42,000 acre spread known as the Canyon Ranch, the Blackmon family had the opportunity in 2001 to carve out the very best part of the ranch that was already teeming with wildlife and named it the Circle B Ranch.
Circle B Ranch is located between Sonora and Rocksprings on top of Edwards Plateau about two and a half hours west of San Antonio, Texas. This is the transition area between the Hill Country and West Texas and is known for its abundant wildlife. The ranch has a diverse landscape which includes thick oak trees, mesquite thickets, prickly pear flats along with a variety of brush like persimmon, black brush and agarita.
